Printed Pants

This trend is to-die-for. You have to be pretty bold to pull these pants off, but these girls nailed it with ease!

On Safari

Africa/safari-inspired clothing is one of the best fashion trends for Spring 2012. This is how some of the top fashion designers used the trend and my way of using the trend.
The runway photos used are designs from Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, and Burberry. Since none of these outfits included animal print pants, I decided to include them in my outfit. The printed pants do most of the styling for this outfit, so the other pieces are very basic and neutral. My outfit gives off a very strong, fierce, and sort of "intimidating" vibe (the same attitude a lion gives off). I think my outfit is very Africa/safari-inspired.

Glam Gaga

Had to revisit August 1, 2011 to honor the stunning all-houndstooth outfit Lady Gaga wore.
I'm so in love with this outfit! It's so difficult to pull off head-to-toe print, especially if that print is exactly the same throughout the outfit. Most people would have looked overly matchy, but Lady Gaga pulled this look off perfectly. I adore the chicness and sophistication of the outfit; she definitely nailed it!

Diane's Fashion Obsessions: Printed/Patterned Shoes

Patterned shoes are a must-have! They easily give an outfit more "interest".

I love Doc Martens. A print makes them less edgy and a lot more sweet.
Menswear is really popular now. Oxfords are a men's style shoe, but a print gives them a dose of femininity.

Heels/platforms are always sexy, but a print gives them some extra spark!

Prints make an ordinary sneaker look a lot less ordinary.

Printed flats look a bit dressier, so you can pair them with your favorite party dress. You'll be able to bring more excitment into your outfit while staying formal, and without killing your feet!
