Who Wouldn't Want to be a Nasty Gal?

I'm sure you-all will agree with me when I say: "Nasty Gal has to be one of the best, if not the best, online clothing stores out there."
3 words to describe their clothing: sexy, edgy, and just...cool
These next few clothing pieces will basically describe everything else about Nasty Gal that you need to know.

Yeah, so are you in love yet? If you need some more convincing, here are a few VINTAGE pieces that will blow your mind!

And how could we ever forget...SHOESSS?!

Amazing, right? As soon as I get a job (whenever that may be), I'm going on an online shopping spree. Anyone want to join me?

Diane's Fashion Obsessions: Printed/Patterned Shoes

Patterned shoes are a must-have! They easily give an outfit more "interest".

I love Doc Martens. A print makes them less edgy and a lot more sweet.
Menswear is really popular now. Oxfords are a men's style shoe, but a print gives them a dose of femininity.

Heels/platforms are always sexy, but a print gives them some extra spark!

Prints make an ordinary sneaker look a lot less ordinary.

Printed flats look a bit dressier, so you can pair them with your favorite party dress. You'll be able to bring more excitment into your outfit while staying formal, and without killing your feet!

Diane's Fashion Obsessions: Combat Boots

Oh my gosh, I've wanted combat boots forever, but for some reason I STILL don't have any! They would look great with just about anything. If I had some I would pair them with cut-off shorts, dresses, leather and denim jackets, skirts, skinny jeans, etc. I love them because they're so edgy, and they add fierceness to a seriously-girly outfit. It's my mission to get a pair this summer!!

I've recently fallen in love with Doc Martens, so those are also at the top of my "Must Have" list!

How To: Wear Oxfords

I couldn't help but notice the growing number of people that are starting to wear oxfords. And with that number comes a growing number of people wearing oxfords horribly. Which is sad because I really like oxfords! When oxfords are worn wrong they can look so ugly, grandpa-ish, and just not stylish in any way.
The pictures on this post should serve as inspiration to everyone. It'll show you how other people have stylishly worn oxfords, and how you can create your own unique look.

From looking at these photos, I can tell that oxfords...
  • Should be worn with fitted pants: skinny jeans, jeggings, leggings (your top should cover your butt because leggings are NOT pants!), etc.
  • Won't look good with pants that flare out (they'll cover up the shoe!)
  • Can look great with skirts, dresses, and shorts
  • Can look chic when paired with tights (Tights aren't pants though; wear something to cover your bottom!)
  • Can be worn with cuffed boyfriend jeans/pants (the cuff will keep your jeans from covering your shoes)

Gotta Love Those Sneakers & Flats!

I love heels, but as a high school student, walking in them all day is a pain. With all the power-walking back-and-forth and from class-to-class, you feel like you're about to die by the end of the day.
Sneakers and flats can fix that problem though. They come in all different types of colors and patterns, so you can look cute and be comfortable at the same time! You can wear them with jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses, shorts, EVERYTHING!
But don't start thinking that flats will be too casual for one of your dressier outfits. Look for a fancy or uncasual flat to pair with your more formal outfits.
I love my pair of black flats. They're so comfy and they look great with just about anything!
I've also recently started loving oxfords. They're so dressy and chic, but look comfortable and wearable at the same time. I'd really like to buy a pair of them sometime this year.
A big trend of 2011 is mannish flats, and I'm definitely a fan of it! If you choose to try out this trend for yourself you will look fashionable, in-style, modern, and you'll be thanking yourself when Summer comes around and it's time to pull the sandals back out!
(But if you must wear heels remember: the wider the heel & lower the arch, the more comfortable it will be. aka Block Heels!)

Nude shoes go with everything!

Even the dressiest of outfits look great with flats!

Floral Print Sneakers!

I love those oxfords & her outfits are amazing!
